Pladia, a new technology solution designed to serve the cultural tourism market, was unveiled recently. Developed by Art Processors, Pladia offers cultural institutions a cost-effective suite of products to enhance the visitor experience.
In an era of evolving visitor expectations and increasing demand for digital integration, Pladia’s mission is to empower cultural institutions to craft creative and accessible experiences that leave lasting impressions, cultivate valuable learnings, and ensure long-term success.
Pladia’s Core Products:
- Pladia Empower: A comprehensive end-to-end solution designed to simplify and enhance the visitor experience while providing valuable analytics. The visitor application, delivered through a Progressive Web App (PWA), offers easy-to-use wayfinding, configurable content, and powerful analytics tools to help institutions make data-driven decisions.
- Event Sync: An innovative SaaS product that ensures perfect synchronization between sight and sound for events such as drone light shows, laser shows, projection mapping, fireworks displays, and outdoor cinema events.
Launching in Australia and the US:
Pladia is launching in Australia and the US, led by Chief Executive Andi Mastrosavas. With plans to scale globally, the company has a team of 33 staff operating out of Australia and the US. Its executive team includes Head of Technology Gabriel Iturbe, Head of Customer Experience Lindsey Green, and Head of Product and Design Anna Nicholson.
“We understand that the entry experience can be a source of anxiety and dissatisfaction for visitors,” commented Chief Executive Andi Mastrosavas. “Pladia offers a cost-effective solution to address these challenges by providing institutions with the tools to create seamless and informative experiences.”
Pladia will operate independently as an all-inclusive subscription-based technology platform for cultural institutions, festivals, events, and tourism. This shift will allow Art Processors to focus on expanding its full-service experience design offerings, while Pladia concentrates on providing institutions with the tools to create personalised experiences, reduce friction, and gain deeper insights into their visitors.
