Cisco Unveils agentic collaboration features across Webex and Workplace Ecosystem

Cisco has introduced new agentic collaboration innovations aimed at integrating digital teammates directly into everyday workflows, physical spaces, and customer interactions.

Announced at WebexOne 2026, the updates evolve Webex beyond traditional chatbots into proactive AI agents capable of handling complex, multi-step tasks alongside human teams. Key developments include the integration of Claude Managed Agents into Webex, allowing workers to analyze shared enterprise data, generate content, and coordinate actions across applications without leaving the platform.

Alongside digital agent tools, Cisco unveiled Intelligent Workplace Experiences, unifying secure networking, collaboration hardware, and physical space analytics through Cisco Cloud Control. The release also includes RoomOS 27, which expands native meeting platform interoperability to Google Meet and introduces expanded edge AI features for physical meeting rooms.

For customer experience, Cisco debuted Dialog—an agentic harness designed to turn standalone service interactions into persistent customer relationships by executing background tasks across systems until issues are fully resolved.
